In addition to 36 hours of module instruction, you'll complete 40 hours of independent practice experience across three areas:

Active participation in classes to deepen your own practice.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the prerequisites?
You should regularly practice Reformer Pilates and have a passion for teaching. A prior fitness or Pilates certification is beneficial but not strictly required.
How is the training structured?
The training comprises 76 hours: 36 teaching units of module instruction (6 modules across 3 weekends) plus 40 hours of practice experience (20 class participation hours, 10 observation hours and 10 self-teaching hours). The exam takes place separately.
How much does it cost?
The training costs €2,450. This includes all module instruction hours, the study guide, access to the VoD platform, the exam fee and the Unlimited Reformer flat rate for the duration of the training. This covers participation in hospitation sessions, observations and self-teaching practices at Reformer Club GmbH.
When do the modules take place?
Winter 26/27 in Munich: Modules 1 & 2 (November 28 & 29), Modules 3 & 4 (December 19 & 20), Modules 5 & 6 (January 16 & 17). Exam dates: Feb 28 written · Mar 7 or Apr 4 practical.
How does the application process work?
Applications for the Winter Academy are open. Patricia and Lara review applications on an ongoing basis. Acceptances and rejections are sent by email. If accepted, we ask for a binding confirmation within a few days — any open spots are then offered to the waitlist.
How does the exam work?
The exam is a practical teaching demo where you lead a Reformer Pilates class. Additionally, there's a theory exam on our platform with 30 questions from a pool of 100.
Do I receive a certificate?
Yes, after successfully completing all modules, practice hours and the exam, you receive an official certificate from the Reformer Club Academy in collaboration with FitLara.
Who is the instructor?
In collaboration with our Head of Academy Lara (FitLara) and our Academy Lead Patricia, you'll learn to lead dynamic, engaging group classes — with precision and passion. Lara is an experienced Pilates instructor and founder of FitLara, Patricia is an instructor and trainer at Reformer Club Munich.
